Sam Leith is literary editor of the Spectator and a columnist for the FT. His work has appeared in the Guardian, TLS, Times and New York Times among others, and his special subjects of interest are literary criticism and rhetoric. His books include You Talkin’ To Me? Rhetoric from Aristotle to Trump and Beyond, Write To The Point: How To Be Clear, Correct and Persuasive on the Page and the novel The Coincidence Engine. He also hosts the Spectator’s Book Club podcast.
