Attributed to Thomas Parnell in the Dictionary of national biography.
Hildeburn and Evans supply the imprint: Philadelphia : Printed by James Chattin, 1753. However, the American Antiquarian Society copy was found bound with and resembles in appearance William Law's The nature and design of Christianity (Evans 7814) and Fénelon's The uncertainity of a death-bed repentance (Evans 7656). Law's work has the imprint: Germantown: Printed by Christopher Sower, 1756.
